I have been doing cross stitch since I was a teenager, but it always seems to me that I have not done a lot even after spending hours working on it. In an effort to encourage myself to finish my latest cross stitch project, I have decided to take a daily photo of my progress. Hopefully this will help me to finish faster and keep me from spending so much time on Facebook, playing games. My current project is frangipani flowers, a companion to hibiscus flowers which I finished a few years ago. The patterns are from an old edition of Ariadne kruissteken (cross stitch) that I bought in the 1990's in the Netherlands. For both projects I used 14 count Aida fabric and DMC Floss.
April 30 2012 OK so it looks like the daily photo is not happening so I will go with a regular update instead.
May 17 2012 The photo updates are not as regular as I would like, but on the bright side my work is progressing nicely:)
